I’ve had a hard time with “eating at restaurants” because I didn’t want to eat so much. I didn’t want to eat a single dish, and I didn’t want to eat too many things.

I really like the quote from the film “Superbad” about the man who is so selfish that he eats and eats and eats until he cant eat anymore. What’s interesting is how selfish he is being. It seems like he’s trying to eat because he doesn’t want to lose weight, but he is constantly giving himself a hard time about it.
The problem the selfish man is trying to solve is that he wants to be healthy, but the problem he is having is that he cant do it. I think that the reason why the movie has such a negative connotation is because he is giving up the health of his body to the goal of starving himself to death. This is a problem that we all deal with, but its usually much more subtle.
In the selfish man’s world, that is. And he does have a solution: He is eating less and drinking less, and that just makes him feel happier. But the selfish man’s solution isn’t to lose weight. He just wants to eat less food. It’s a case of “If I could just do that, I would be happy”.
