I can’t say this enough. When I was a kid, my dad would always tell me, “never surrender.” If you don’t have something in your life, you might as well give up and start over. The truth is, you can’t do anything right the first time. There will be times that you think you “should” be able to do something, and then it falls through the cracks.
I remember one time, when I was about 7, my dad was running a business. A guy came in with a business card. While he was talking, I looked at the card and said to my dad, “This is a business card. Where is my business?” My dad looked at me and said, “This is a business card.” It was an actual business card.
The first time we heard about the company, there was a conversation we had that went like this: “This is a business card. If you can talk to me and tell me what I can do to help, I can help you.” This was pretty much what we thought. We wanted to get into the business, and then we started over.
One of the reasons not to get into the business is to avoid the awkwardness of meeting the CEO. At the time of the interview, the CEO was a man called Bill Smith. Bill Smith was the CEO of the company, and he had a great reputation for his ability to get others to do his bidding. He said that he was always proud of the fact that he had never been arrested, so I was kind of expecting this to be a friendly meeting with some of his employees.
I was pretty nervous about meeting the boss, but fortunately the CEO seemed to know Bill Smith and seemed a lot more friendly than I thought he would.
The first thing Bill Smith and I agreed on was that we would use that as a stepping stone. We had been working on this movie since the movie’s director died and we had decided that we actually wanted to make a movie about the life of a legendary character. We wanted to build a movie where we could have an in-depth look into his character from a different perspective.
We’ve been trying to make something like that for years, but we’ve always missed the mark because we never could figure out what we wanted to say. We finally decided to take a leap of faith and put all the pieces in place.
Weve got the guy in our movie. Weve got the guy in our movie. But we have no idea what we are saying. Thats our fault. We were trying to say, “I AM A GOD.” Youll see.
We’ve got the guy in the movie. We’ve got the guy in our movie. The movie is a big, beautiful piece of work at that moment. We’ve got an in-depth look at the character and we’re in the middle of a huge discussion. We’ve got a lot of words to build up to.
“I am not a god,” you say. “I am a man.
