I really enjoy all of these quotes from a variety of people, including Casanova himself. I think this is a great opportunity to share them.
Casanova, a famous courtesan, was once a courtesan in his own right. However, in the end, he was betrayed by the men who took over his life, so he now lives as a hermit and writes letters to women, all the while keeping them in secret.
Casanova is quite a character, so I’m very glad that I’ve been able to find these quotes about him in the past couple of weeks.
To understand why Casanova was so obsessed with comics, I have to ask: what kind of comics do you like? This is just one of the many reasons why some comics are fascinating.
In the last few years, Ive been reading a lot of comic books, specifically the ones that are considered “hardcore” by the people who make them. Ive been enjoying the way that these books (especially graphic novels) are able to capture a particular style and aesthetic that is so easily recognizable, yet so alien to most of our everyday lives. Comic books are like something out of a James Bond movie (or maybe a Harry Potter movie).
A lot of the book reviews are about the art style of the comic book, and as I’ve mentioned a lot before, there isn’t a lot that gets me down on the page, either. I only got one review for the comics that dealt with the art style of comics. I don’t have a reason to pick them up.
When I first saw that review, I almost deleted it because I didnt want to give it a second look. But after I read the review on the next page, I was like, “Dude, I have seen that artwork in a comic book.” I’ve been around the comic book world for many, many years. I’ve seen plenty of comics that arent really what I’d call “artists” and I’m not going to assume anything about it.
I agree with you. I’ve seen some pretty nasty bad art in a comic book, but I have also seen some of the best looking art in comics. I’m not sure why, but I think it has something to do with the medium itself.
Well, I guess it’s true. Comics have that look that makes them seem more real than not. I remember seeing a comic at a comic shop that was painted in watercolors with no strokes at all. It wasn’t the kind of work that I would have expected in a comic book.
Most of the art in this comic is about a character with the character’s mind, and the character’s true intentions. I think this art is probably a part of the reason why that art is so popular.
