No, I’m not talking about this. I don’t want to get stuck on a list of my favorite quotes and thoughts. In this case, I’m very happy, not embarrassed to be quoting.
I know what you are thinking… I think I have to be careful so I don’t get stuck on a list. No, I am not embarrassed to be quoting. In fact, it’s a huge part of why I love what I do. I love being able to say things like, “Look at this beautiful sunset.” When I have an idea and I have something amazing to say, and I can’t say it, I realize I have to paraphrase.
But, it can be frustrating to be the person who has to say and write, “Well thats the way it is.” I know that I like to do this with my writing but it can be a pain in the arse.
I have a few quotes that I find myself quoting in my blog posts, but which I don’t feel like I have to. I know that I could be writing something with more substance, and I don’t feel like saying it all out. I like to have a bit of style in what I write, because I know that it can be a pain to say, Well thats the way it is.
I think the problem is that we feel obligated to say things like “Oh, don’t worry, its just a joke,” and “I didn’t write that.” We think that we are being clever, or that we have our own personal style. But in reality, we’re just saying things that we think are funny because we’re in a time loop.
That’s a good thing, because it gives you an idea of why you feel obligated to say something about it, and the reason for it being fun is because you think it’s cool, because it’s really cool, and it’s pretty simple to do.
There’s nothing wrong with saying all of your life, but it’s actually a pretty good way to express yourself that you don’t feel obligated to say things like Oh, dont worry, its just a joke.
It kind of reminds me of the quote that has popped up a lot on our tumblr – “Don’t let the little things take the wheel, people.”.
Its actually a great quote, and I think it fits in well with a lot of our themes and the way we feel about blogging. I think that if you do take the wheel, and you let the little things take the wheel, you will find that you have a lot more fun doing it. I think that is why people who blog often are so happy to do it and we are a lot happier to be doing it.
It is also why a lot of our blog traffic is from people who are in a similar boat. We are not always in control of our circumstances, and if we let the little things take the wheel, we will find ourselves in a lot more trouble.
